Three AI researchers and a filmmaker sat in a San Francisco coffee shop and asked: why is there no dedicated platform for AI-generated video content? Movinara was born.
Founding & Seed Round
Movinara incorporated and raised $3.2M in seed funding from top AI-focused VCs. The founding team of 8 began building the platform in stealth mode.
Private Beta Launch
Launched private beta to 500 hand-selected AI creators. Early feedback was overwhelmingly positive — creators loved the revenue share model and upload tools.
Public Launch
Movinara opened its doors to the world. Within the first month, we welcomed 10,000+ creators and 200,000 viewers. The AI content revolution had officially begun.
Series A & Global Expansion
Raised $18M Series A. Launched in 50+ countries, added multi-language subtitle support, and expanded the team to 45 people across 12 countries.
